Travel Radiation Therapist 13 weeks Texarkana ,

TX SHIFT:

5 DAYS, 8 HR/DAY OP and occasional IP patients, 15-20 per machine, 2-3 sims per day

TRUEBEAM/VARIAN, ARIA, VISION RT, EPIC

experience highly preferred

Summary:

Performs radiation therapy and radiographic procedures involving the application of X-rays and radioactive substances to patients. Operates specialized X-ray equipment as prescribed by the physician. Keeps treatment records and prepares operational reports as required. Maintains, stores and orders supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities:

Provides quality patient care in relation to the patient's prescribed diagnosis, treatment, age group, development and other identified needs Responsible for the performance of all duties relating to the administration of a prescribed course of

Radiation Therapy Requirements :

Associate Degree MRT License in state of TX RRT License in state of TX BLS (AHA only)
