Job Description

Category Radiation Therapy Job Type Contract Seeking a skilled radiation therapy professional to deliver top-quality patient care in an advanced oncology setting. This contract opportunity requires a highly motivated and experienced individual ready to begin as soon as possible and committed to clinical excellence. The role utilizes state-of-the-art Varian Truebeam/Aria technology in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (5x8-hour shifts)
Key Qualifications:
Current and active Virginia (VA) Radiation Therapist license required Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in Radiation Therapy Strong proficiency with Varian Truebeam/Aria systems Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment Detail-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Must be available for an immediate start
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver precise radiation treatments according to physician orders and established protocols Operate and maintain sophisticated radiation therapy equipment (Truebeam/Aria) Maintain accurate treatment records and ensure compliance with safety standards Provide compassionate patient care and clear communication throughout the treatment process Collaborate closely with oncology team members during planning and delivery of care Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and training
