Job Description

Category Radiation Therapy Job Type Contract Step into a role where your radiation therapy expertise supports patient care in a specialized clinical setting. This contract position is ideal for professionals seeking immediate opportunities to work with cutting-edge technology, including Varian Truebeam/Aria systems.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (5x8-hour shifts)
Key Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as a Radiation Therapist required Active, valid Virginia licensure in Radiation Therapy (must be in hand at time of application) Prior experience operating Varian Truebeam/Aria technology highly preferred Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with oncology teams Demonstrated excellence in patient care, safety protocols, and equipment management
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver prescribed radiation treatments accurately and safely to oncology patients Collaborate closely with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and physicists Set up, calibrate, and operate radiation therapy equipment in accordance with manufacturer and facility protocols Perform daily quality assurance checks on machines and treatment areas Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and treatment documentation Provide compassionate care and support to patients throughout their treatment journey
