Job Description

Category Radiation Therapy - Radiation Therapist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role as a Radiation Therapist providing essential care within a reputable healthcare environment. Your expertise will contribute directly to delivering safe, effective radiation treatments, supporting patients throughout their oncology journey.
Desired Qualifications:
Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy Current state licensure or eligibility as a Radiation Therapist Demonstrated proficiency in radiation oncology procedures and equipment operation Ability to follow prescribed treatment plans and safety protocols Strong communication and compassion in patient care Previous experience in a clinical radiation therapy setting preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments under the direction of a Radiation Oncologist Operate linear accelerators and other specialized equipment with precision and care Monitor patient responses to treatments and promptly report side effects or concerns to medical staff Maintain accurate records of all procedures and patient interactions Collaborate closely with physicians, dosimetrists, physicists, and nursing staff to deliver coordinated care Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, side effects, and post-therapy expectations Ensure strict adherence to safety and infection control guidelines within treatment areas This contract position offers a valuable opportunity to make a meaningful impact in cancer care while advancing your professional skills in a dynamic clinical setting.
