1 Description American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a stroke center, requiring 2+ years of experience and ARRT/CT certification. Details 250-bed hospital with a CT department located on the 2nd floor of the main hospital building Stroke center requiring ability to cover stroke coverage Day shift staffed by 2-3 CT techs Patient ratio of 1:1 Equipment includes a GE 64 Slice CT scanner Uses EPIC and McKesson PACS systems Thursday-Saturday schedule, 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM On-call and weekend requirements as needed Rotating holiday coverage required No floating required Requirements Minimum 2 years of CT Tech experience ARRT certification required CT certification required BLS certification required License required if applicable Ability to perform all routine CT exams Ability to start IVs preferred Experience with invasive procedures preferred Additional Information Perform all routine CT exams including invasive procedures Alaska State fingerprint and background check required to clear file Gray scrub color required Unit policies and guidelines will be reviewed with candidate on site Best fit includes friendly, hardworking, and adaptable personality traits
