Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Step into a vital imaging role providing advanced diagnostic services with a focus on both CT and PET/CT modalities. Your expertise will ensure the highest standards in patient care within a collaborative and clinically progressive environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
Certified Radiologic Technologist with ARRT (CT) credentials required. Demonstrated experience operating both CT and PET/CT equipment. In-depth knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging principles. Proficiency in patient positioning, image acquisition, and protocol optimization for both modalities. Current BLS certification is essential. Exceptional attention to detail with an emphasis on patient safety and radiation protection. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, radiologists, and healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality CT and combined PET/CT scans according to physician orders and established protocols. Prepare and position patients safely; provide clear instructions and ensure comfort throughout the imaging process. Administer contrast materials as required, monitoring for possible reactions. Maintain accurate documentation of imaging procedures and patient information in compliance with regulatory standards. Operate and care for sophisticated imaging equipment; troubleshoot technical issues as they arise. Collaborate with radiologists and other professionals to ensure accurate images and optimal patient outcomes. Monitor inventory of supplies and assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. Contribute to quality assurance initiatives and participate in continuous education and training.
