Key Qualifications:
Registered or registry-eligible in CT (ARRT or equivalent) Demonstrated proficiency in operating CT and PET/CT scanners In-depth knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging principles Strong attention to detail with excellent patient care skills Ability to work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare staff Current BLS certification Prior experience in a hospital or clinical imaging setting preferred
Responsibilities:
Perform CT and PET/CT scans according to physician orders and established protocols Prepare and position patients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and privacy throughout procedures Review patient histories and clarify exam requests to guarantee optimal imaging results Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members regarding procedures and findings Accurately document and report results in compliance with clinical and regulatory requirements Apply radiation safety standards and infection control procedures
