This role is ideal for a skilled Radiologic Technologist who thrives in delivering top-notch diagnostic imaging services with accuracy and compassion. You'll be working alongside a dedicated medical team, providing crucial support in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Qualifications & Skills:
Current and valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification State licensure to practice as a Radiologic Technologist Demonstrated experience as an Imaging or X-ray Tech in a clinical or hospital setting Proficiency with digital imaging equipment and PACS systems Solid knowledge of radiation safety protocols and procedures Exceptional attention to detail paired with strong organizational skills Effective communication abilities and patient-focused mindset
Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray and radiologic imaging according to physician orders and clinical protocols Prepare and position patients appropriately ensuring comfort and safety Adhere strictly to all radiation protection guidelines to safeguard patients, self, and team members Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to deliver accurate results in a timely manner Maintain detailed records of performed procedures, utilizing hospital EMR systems with accuracy Keep all imaging equipment clean, calibrated, and in working order to guarantee operational readiness Assist in transporting and transferring patients when necessary
