Summary:
A Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist is responsible for providing technical support to the Pediatric Imaging Diagnostic Division through the performance of radiological examinations and appropriate patient care.

Must be proficient with all Radiological Equipment•fixed and mobile. Must know how to operate CR and DR equipment Must know how to use Immobilization devises. Must know how to use and process cassettes. Must be able to correctly use right and left lead Mitchell markers Must be proficient in using patient related clerical and historical material. At Children's South we perform CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy and X-ray exams. We also provide sedation services for our CT and MRI patients. We have a beautifully designed under the water theme in all areas. We strive to have a family like atmosphere with technologists and nurses working together to provide exceptional patient care.
