Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Exceptional opportunity for a skilled CT/PET Technologist to contribute expertise within a dynamic imaging department. This contract role involves working 3 twelve-hour shifts Friday through Sunday, focused on high-quality patient care in a Level II Trauma Center equipped with advanced technology.
Location Overview:
Situated in Millbrook, AL, this facility boasts 492 beds and is recognized as a Primary Stroke Center with a Level
III NICU.
The hospital serves diverse patients including adult inpatients and outpatients, as well as pediatric cases primarily through emergency and outpatient services. The environment is fast-paced, with an average caseload of four patients per hour, emphasizing individualized 1:1 ratios for imaging procedures.
Responsibilities:
Perform advanced CT imaging including biopsy drainage, trauma, angiography, and stroke perfusion studies Operate GE CT equipment and utilize Cerner EMR systems for documentation and patient tracking Float across multiple hospital radiology areas, adapting to various patient needs and workflows Participate in orientation comprising an 8-hour hospital overview and 2-3 unit shifts shadowing day staff Support hospital scheduling needs including one major and one minor holiday on a seasonal basis, with occasional weekend rotations and voluntary on-call opportunities
Qualifications and Credentials:
ARRT certification in CT required; ARRT general and current BLS certifications mandatory State licensing preferred Minimum of 2 years' experience for first-time travelers; 1 year experience considered if highly skilled in required areas Demonstrated proficiency in trauma and angiogram protocols; stroke perfusion experience strongly preferred
