Desired Qualifications:
Current and valid certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MRI or equivalent) Previous experience operating MRI equipment in a hospital or clinical setting Proficiency in patient positioning, venipuncture, and safety protocols specific to MRI procedures Strong interpersonal skills to promote patient comfort and effective communication with healthcare teams Ability to troubleshoot imaging equipment and ensure calibration for optimal results CPR/BLS certification required Attention to confidentiality, detail, and data accuracy in all imaging work
Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality MRI scans as ordered by physicians, ensuring compliance with standard protocols Accurately position patients for various imaging procedures while explaining the process and addressing patient concerns Maintain safety for patients and staff by adhering to MRI safety regulations regarding metallic objects and contrast materials Input and document imaging data in electronic medical records systems Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review images and facilitate diagnostic processes Support a patient-centered environment focused on care, dignity, and respect This contract role is an excellent opportunity to leverage your MRI imaging skillset while making a meaningful difference in diagnostic healthcare.
