Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Advance your expertise in diagnostic imaging as a vital member of a healthcare team specializing in CT and CT/PET procedures. This contract opportunity allows you to apply your clinical skills in a dynamic medical environment, supporting patient care through precise imaging and collaborative teamwork. Desired Qualifications & Experience Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Imaging program Current certification in Computed Tomography (CT) Additional experience with PET imaging technology preferred Active registry with ARRT (RT)(CT) required State licensure, as applicable Proven ability to operate advanced CT and PET/CT scanners Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction Working knowledge of imaging protocols, radiation safety, and quality control measures BLS certification Key Responsibilities Perform high-quality CT and CT/PET scans as ordered by medical staff Prepare and safely position patients for diagnostic procedures Monitor patients to ensure comfort and safety throughout the imaging process Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot imaging equipment Adhere to all radiation protection guidelines Accurately document patient information and scan results Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and support patient diagnosis Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations This position offers the advantage of working in a progressive medical setting with advanced imaging technology. Your experience in CT and CT/PET imaging can have a lasting impact on patient care. ! $2,270 - $2,394/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates.
