Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting as an Imaging Professional specializing in Radiology Tech and X-ray Tech responsibilities. This contract opportunity offers a chance to use your expertise in diagnostic imaging to assist medical teams in delivering timely, accurate patient diagnoses.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current ARRT certification (or registry-eligible status) Active, unrestricted Radiologic Technologist license Proficiency with digital radiography and imaging equipment Solid understanding of radiological safety, patient positioning, and infection control protocols Strong communication skills for effective patient interaction and interdisciplinary collaboration Prior experience in acute care or hospital environments preferred
Schedule & Hours:
Flexible shifts available; exact schedule to be discussed during the interview process
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality X-ray and radiographic examinations as requested by providers Ensure proper patient identification and comfort throughout imaging procedures Accurately capture and process diagnostic images utilizing established protocols Maintain detailed records, enter data into PACS or EMR systems, and follow HIPAA regulations Collaborate with radiology team members, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure coordinated patient care Uphold equipment maintenance, troubleshoot minor technical issues, and maintain a clean, safe imaging area
