Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic environment providing top-tier patient care as an experienced CT Technologist. In this contract position, you will perform comprehensive diagnostic imaging procedures, collaborating closely with healthcare professionals to deliver accurate and timely results. Your expertise in CT imaging will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality patient assessments and excellent clinical outcomes.
Key Qualifications:
Certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT CT) required Proficiency in the operation of CT scanners and related equipment Thorough knowledge of safety protocols, including radiation protection measures Minimum of one year of recent experience in a CT imaging setting Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support patients and team members Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise protocols
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform CT scans as ordered by physicians, ensuring quality imaging and patient comfort Prepare patients for procedures, including explanation of processes and administration of contrast materials when necessary Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare staff to review images and ensure diagnostic accuracy Conduct routine equipment checks and report technical issues promptly Uphold infection control practices and maintain a safe, clean working environment This is an outstanding opportunity to contribute your skills in a supportive healthcare setting, enhance your clinical expertise, and impact patient outcomes in meaningful ways.
