Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Advance your imaging career by contributing your expertise as an MRI Technologist in a dynamic healthcare environment. Play a key role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging for both adult and occasional pediatric patients in a facility known for its modern capabilities and commitment to patient care.
Schedule/Hours:
Four 10-hour shifts per week 11:00 a.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Qualifications:
ARRT certification required; ARRT (R)-MR or ARMRIT preferred Current BLS certification State license preferred MRI Tech experience with strong proficiency in advanced MR imaging procedures, including head/neck, abdomen, pelvis, spine, extremities, and MRAs Experience with Siemens Espree 1.5T MRI equipment and Cerner EMR is desired Previous experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings (adults/pediatrics) Ability to float to various areas within the main Radiology department as needed Open to candidates with at least one year of recent, relevant travel experience, or two years for first-time travelers
Responsibilities:
Perform a range of MRI procedures, ensuring clear, accurate image acquisition Collaborate with a team that includes two CT techs and an assistant per shift Manage a caseload averaging four patients per hour while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care Accurately document imaging and patient details within Cerner EMR Maintain equipment, including using personal markers as required Float within different areas of the Radiology department according to workflow needs
