Key Responsibilities:

Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues Position patients correctly to obtain the best possible images Administer contrast agents when necessary Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and make diagnoses Maintain accurate patient records and ensure safety during procedures Follow radiation safety procedures to protect patients, staff, and others Maintain and calibrate equipment and assist with quality control and assurance activities

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program Certification in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist in a hospital setting Knowledge of radiographic positioning, radiation safety, and patient care
