- What we are looking for NextCare Urgent Care is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Radiology Technician (RT) or Practical Technologist in Radiology (PTR) / Medical Assistant that likes the challenge of a fast pace setting and working in a team environment.
Essential Education, Experience and Skills:
Education:
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent; AND diploma or certificate from an accredited radiology school AND Completed anAPPROVED
(accredited) Medical Assistant training program. OR Completed anUNAPPROVED
(non-accredited) Medical Assistant training program AND a National Certification through one of the following: American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)- administers the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) exam and certification; or American Medical Technologists (AMT)
- provides the Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) exam and certification to individuals who have completed the AMT criteria; or National Healthcareer Association (NHA
- administers the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam and certification
