Radiologic CT Technologist

• Job Summary and Responsibilities
• As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.

Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations. To excel, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses. + Utilizes good radiation safety practices for patients, self and others. + Independently performs CT and radiographic procedures at a technical level. + Ensures all CT and radiographic images are of diagnostic quality. + Displays competency performing procedures; follows every step for taking an x-ray and CT scan (two patient identifier, gel in/gel out, etc.) + Uses proper technique to reduce patient exposure to radiation (ALARA). + Takes all precautions necessary to ensure the patient's safety during procedures. • Job Requirements

• Minimum:

  + One (1) year of current experience performing CT and Radiographic procedures in an emergency room setting. + Graduate of a 2 year accredited school of Radiology Technology. +
• STATE
• : Must hold and maintain

AZ DHS Bureau of Special Licensing CRT:

Certified Radiologic Technologist (CT CRT) and

CTCT:

Certified Technologist/Computed Tomography (LIC CT) +

• NATIONAL

• : Must also hold and maintain national American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (CT ARRT) + American Heart Association-issued Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CT CPRBLS)

Preferred:

+ Level 1 or 2 trauma center ER experience.
