Description:
Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and skilled X-Ray Technologist to join our Ambulatory Surgery Center team. This position is responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging and fluoroscopy support during surgical and procedural cases while maintaining patient safety and following all applicable radiation safety standards. Primary Responsibilities Perform diagnostic X-rays and fluoroscopic imaging as ordered. Operate C-arm and other radiologic equipment during surgical procedures. Position patients appropriately to obtain quality images while maintaining patient safety and comfort. Assist physicians and surgical staff with imaging needs during procedures. Follow radiation safety practices and maintain proper use of protective equipment. Maintain imaging equipment and ensure supplies are available and ready for procedures. Complete required documentation accurately and timely. Follow infection prevention, sterile technique, and ASC safety protocols. Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, surgical technologists, and other members of the surgical team.
Requirements:
Requirements Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R) . Current state-required radiologic technologist license, if applicable. Current BLS certification . Experience with C-arm and fluoroscopy preferred. Previous operating room, surgical, or ASC experience preferred. Strong communication, organization, and patient-care skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
