C-Arm Technician

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled C-Arm Technician to join our dynamic procedure team. In this vital role, you will operate and maintain C-Arm imaging equipment, providing real-time fluoroscopic images to assist physicians during interventional procedures. Your expertise will ensure high-quality imaging, patient safety, and smooth workflow in fast-paced environments such as emergency rooms, urgent care centers, and trauma centers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to patient care through precise imaging and technical support. Responsibilities Set up, calibrate, and operate C-Arm fluoroscopy equipment during procedures. Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols throughout imaging processes. Assist physicians with positioning patients accurately for optimal imaging results while prioritizing patient comfort and safety. Maintain detailed records of procedures, images captured, and equipment maintenance logs. Monitor equipment performance regularly, troubleshoot technical issues promptly, and coordinate repairs as needed. Collaborate with medical assistant team to provide excellent patient care and a sterile procedure suite. Follow all safety guidelines related to radiation exposure for patients and staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Requirements Proven experience operating C-Arm fluoroscopy units in fast-paced healthcare settings such as surgical suites, interventional pain procedure suites, or cosmetic surgery centers.. Strong knowledge of medical imaging modalities and imaging protocols for fluoroscopy procedures. Familiarity with diagnostic radiology procedures and medical terminology essential for effective communication with healthcare professionals. Understanding of anatomy knowledge necessary for accurate patient positioning and image acquisition. Ability to maintain aseptic technique during procedures to prevent infections.
