PRN Practical Technologist in Radiology (PTR)
  • Limited Scope PRN / As-Needed Coverage Requirement This is a PRN (as-needed) position.
The selected candidate must be flexible and willing to provide coverage at multiple locations as operational needs arise, including:
Central Phoenix:
370 E. Virginia Ave., Suite 100, Phoenix, AZ 85004
Mesa:
1520 S. Dobson Rd., Suite 210, Mesa, AZ 85202
Bell Road:
3329 E. Bell Rd., Suites A1-A5, Phoenix, AZ 85032
Northwest Phoenix:
15830 N. 35th Ave., Suite 1, Phoenix, AZ 85053
Scottsdale:
9220 E. Mountain View Rd., Suites 102 & 200, Scottsdale, AZ 85258
Training Location:
Initial training may occur at a nearby clinic
Status:
PRN (as-needed) position, In-Person
  • Join Our Growing Surgical Team! We're looking for a skilled and reliable PRN X-Ray Tech (PTR) to support our orthopedic surgery practice. If you're detail-oriented, enjoy patient care, and thrive in a team environment—we'd love to meet you.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality digital radiographs (upper extremities only)
  • Ensure patient comfort and proper positioning for exams
  • Burn images to CDs and upload to PACS
  • Enter and verify patient demographic data
  • Maintain equipment logs and assist with basic troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure smooth daily workflow
  • Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited radiology program
  • Active PTR (Practical Technologist in Radiology) Certification
  • Required
  • 2-3 years of experience with extremity imaging preferred
  • Basic medical terminology knowledge
  • Must pass a criminal background check
  • Ability to train at another location before starting at assigned site
