• X-Ray + Occupational Health Clinical Support Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist (RT) for an ongoing assignment in Phoenix, Arizona . This is a hybrid X-ray and clinical support position in a fast-paced occupational health and urgent care environment. Approximately 40% of the role is X-ray and 60% consists of Medical Assistant responsibilities , including supporting physicals and work-related injury care . Candidates should be comfortable moving between radiology and hands-on patient care throughout the day. Schedule Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM One-hour lunch Ongoing coverage need What You'll Do Radiology - Approximately 40% Prepare and position patients for diagnostic X-rays Explain imaging procedures and maintain patient comfort and safety Operate radiologic equipment and obtain diagnostic-quality images Follow established radiation-safety requirements and use appropriate protective equipment Ensure imaging workflows and reports transfer appropriately to the EMR Complete required radiology documentation Perform required equipment calibration and QA/QC procedures Maintain required radiology records Identify and report equipment malfunctions Medical Assistant / Clinical Support - Approximately 60% Support a busy occupational health and urgent care practice Assist with occupational physicals Support evaluation and treatment of work-related injuries Assist clinicians with patient-care activities within the scope of the position Move efficiently between imaging and clinical-support responsibilities as patient needs change The practice environment includes occupational health, workers' compensation injury treatment, physicals, drug screening and urgent care services. Requirements Radiologic Technologist credentials appropriate for practice in Arizona Recent experience within the past 2 years in a fast-paced clinical environment Hands-on Medical Assistant experience required Experience supporting physicals and injury care Comfortable with a true 40% X-ray / 60% clinical-support role Strong patient positioning, radiation safety and documentation skills Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8A-5P Why This Assignment Stands Out This is a strong fit for an RT who enjoys doing more than imaging.
