Outpatient Imaging / On-Site About the Position We are seeking a skilled and dependable X-Ray Technologist to join our outpatient imaging team on a PRN basis. This position is ideal for a patient-focused technologist who enjoys a professional, fast-paced clinical environment and values flexibility. You will perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations while supporting efficient outpatient imaging workflows. The role may also provide opportunities to assist with CT and MRI workflows, including patient preparation, positioning, and safety procedures. What You'll Do Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations according to established protocols. Ensure proper patient positioning, image quality, and radiation safety. Assist with CT and MRI workflows as needed. Perform venipuncture and administer IV contrast when required and within scope of practice. Screen patients for contraindications and ensure appropriate preparation. Maintain accurate documentation in RIS, PACS, and EMR systems. Follow radiation safety, infection control, and patient safety standards. Maintain efficient patient flow in a high-volume outpatient environment. Collaborate with radiologists and other imaging professionals. Provide compassionate, professional patient care. Maintain equipment and imaging areas according to department standards. Assist and support other members of the imaging team as needed. What You BringRequired ARRT certification in Radiography (R). Valid Florida state licensure, as applicable. Current BLS certification. Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited equivalent program. Experience with venipuncture and IV contrast administration. Strong knowledge of anatomy, positioning, imaging procedures, and radiation safety. Excellent communication and patient-care skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred 1-2 years of radiography experience. Outpatient or hospital imaging experience. CT and/or MRI experience or training. Experience with PACS, RIS, and EMR systems.
