QUALIFICATIONS
Associates Degree in Radiology Technology and current ARRT certification. Current state and ARRT certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. One - two years' experience as a Radiology Technologist in a hospital or clinic environment. Knowledge of radiology exam policies and procedures. Knowledge of operating a PC and applicable computer software.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Performs radiology procedures as ordered by physicians and providers. Travels to other clinics as directed by Chief Technologist and/or Radiology Director. Complies with all HIPAA and OSHA requirements. Establishes and maintains effective communication with physicians, employees, and other departments. Responds to patient questions as required to resolve issues and maintain high patient satisfaction levels. Maintains patient confidentiality. The Radiology Technologist Pool is responsible for performing radiology procedures and operating X-ray equipment.
