The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in radiologic imaging, including computed tomography (CT) and X-ray procedures, with a strong commitment to patient care and safety. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic clinical environment, providing vital diagnostic services that support accurate patient assessment and treatment planning. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in operating advanced radiology equipment, implementing radiation safety protocols, and delivering compassionate patient care across diverse medical settings. •Pay rate : 50-60 per hour •Schedule Per Diem/Part time Duties Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-ray, CT scans, fluoroscopy, mammography, DEXA scans, PET scans, and nuclear medicine studies with precision and adherence to established protocols. Operate radiologic imaging equipment safely and effectively, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis. Assist in interventional radiology procedures and interventional radiography to support minimally invasive treatments. Maintain strict radiation safety procedures to protect patients, staff, and oneself from unnecessary exposure. Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort throughout the exam. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to facilitate diagnostic evaluations in urgent care, emergency room settings, or trauma centers. Maintain detailed documentation of procedures performed and ensure proper storage of images for review. Adhere to aseptic techniques during invasive procedures and ensure compliance with all safety standards related to medical imaging. Skills Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic radiology principles. Proficiency in operating a variety of radiologic imaging equipment including CT scanners, X-ray machines, fluoroscopy units, mammography devices, DEXA scanners, PET scanners, and nuclear medicine equipment. Experience working in urgent care settings, emergency rooms, Level I or Level II trauma centers is highly desirable. Strong understanding of radiation safety procedures and implementing radiation protection protocols effectively. Ability to perform specialized imaging techniques such as sonography and interventional radiography with precision. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately across diverse populations. Knowledge of medical equipment maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal functioning of imaging devices. Familiarity with medical imaging software systems for image acquisition, processing, and reporting.
