We're looking for someone with a great attitude and a passion for patient care. Must be able to work 12hr shifts and some weekends. We have 2 locations in San Clemente, CA & Carlsbad, CA An ideal candidate is willing to work at both locations.
Job Responsibilities:
Ideal candidate will perform Medical Assistant front and back office duties within the scope of practice, with the ability to multi-task while maintaining efficiency. Ability to perform limited x-ray procedures to include chest, torso, and extremities. Prepare patients for procedures. Logs radiographic procedures. Maintaining/managing x-ray equipment/x-ray room. Assist provider in the back office. Answering calls Assisting nursing staff as needed.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Graduate from an accredited program Current CPR certificate OR willing to obtain it in 30 days Experience with Checking patients in, ideally in an urgent care/outpatient setting Ability to assess vital signs Experience interacting with patients via telephone Knowledge of medical terminology Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations Effective communication and customer service skills California Limited X-ray Certification or Full Scope ARRT Certification.
