Radiologic TechnologistLocation:

$55/hour
Contract Length:
26 weeks, with extensions available
Schedule:
Full-time contractCare Career is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist for a 26-week contract opportunity in a correctional healthcare setting in Corcoran, CA. Extensions may be available based on facility need and provider performance.

This role provides diagnostic imaging services to adult patients in a secure healthcare environment. The Radiologic Technologist will perform x-rays and related imaging procedures, ensure proper patient positioning, follow safety protocols, and complete required documentation according to facility standards.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures as ordered
  • Position patients properly and ensure quality imaging results
  • Follow radiation safety, infection control, and facility policies
  • Review orders and confirm patient information prior to imaging
  • Maintain accurate imaging records and documentation
  • Communicate with medical providers and onsite healthcare staff as needed
  • Maintain equipment readiness and report any issues appropriately
  • Work professionally within a secure correctional healthcare setting
Requirements:
  • Active California Radiologic Technologist license/certification
  • ARRT certification preferred or required by facility
  • Current BLS certification preferred or required by facility
  • Minimum 12 months of recent radiology experience preferred
  • Ability to complete required onboarding, background clearance, and facility compliance requirements
  • Comfortable working in a correctional/secure healthcare environment
  • Strong communication, documentation, and patient care skills
Preferred Experience:
  • Correctional healthcare
  • Hospital, urgent care, or outpatient imaging
  • High-volume clinical settings
  • Working with underserved patient populations
Compensation:
This position pays $55/hour.
