SUMMARY:
A Maintenance Technician will support key processes and projects in the Camfil facility. Position is responsible for assistance in all installation, repair and upkeep operations of the company's facilities and equipment to ensure they are well-cared for and adequate to support the company's business operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In addition to those listed in the Summary section above, the following are duties necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position.

Understand and read Pneumatics, Hydraulics and Electrical Schematics. (PLCs, Drives and Welding) preferred. Disassembly of equipment and install and repair parts to include welding and fabrication as needed. Assist in the start-up of equipment. Manage work orders and inventory with Computerized Maintenance Management System. Drive a culture of urgency and maintain an informed position regarding plant equipment status. Responsible for investigating reliability issues and performing root cause analysis on significant failures. Ability work overtime and be flexible with schedule based on production needs. Perform other duties as assigned. General facility maintenance (lighting, plumbing, etc.) Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Availability for daily/weekly overtime. Crosstrain in other positions within the facility based on business needs. Complete special projects and other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school education or general education degree (GED). One year certificate from college or technical school preferred. (experience should be 2-5 years without certificate/degree) Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to work with mathematical concepts. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk for continuous periods of 4 hours. The employee frequently is required to handle product and reach with hands and arms, repetitively throughout the shift. The employee must frequently lift and /or move up to 50 pounds. Forklift operating (stand up and sit down) and aerial platform.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to office, warehouse, and plant environments. The work environment will require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in certain areas. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
