Travel CT Tech Role:

Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images, prepare and position patients, ensure safety protocols, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver high-quality images. Maintain equipment, document procedures accurately, and follow safety standards to minimize radiation exposure. Adapt to different equipment and protocols, providing compassionate patient care throughout the imaging process.

Responsibilities:

Operate CT equipment for diagnostic imaging Prepare, explain procedures, and position patients Set technical parameters for accurate imaging Provide images for radiologist interpretation Maintain safety standards and equipment functionality Document procedures and collaborate with healthcare professionals Perform routine equipment troubleshooting

Qualifications & Skills:

One year of recent CT technologist experience Valid radiology license and current BLS certification Critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure Visual acuity and effective communication skills
