Key Qualifications:
Current and valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Licensed or eligible for state licensure in radiologic technology Comprehensive experience operating X-ray and computed tomography (CT) equipment in a clinical setting Proficient in producing clear, diagnostically valuable images while minimizing patient exposure to radiation Strong understanding of imaging safety protocols and effective communication with patients and staff Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Prior experience in a hospital or acute care environment is highly desirable
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform radiology and CT exams according to physician orders and department protocols Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures Accurately document exams and maintain imaging records within the facility's systems Monitor and maintain imaging equipment to ensure optimal functionality Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide timely diagnostic information Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards, including infection control and patient confidentiality
