Job Description

Per Diem Radiology Technologist Acute Hospital Per Diem Varied Shifts Varies
Salary Range:
$35.83 - $49.40 Pay rates are determined based on experience and internal equity
Position Summary:
Performs radiographic, fluoroscopic exams on inpatients, outpatients, and surgical patients. Filing of reports and related paperwork Must work well under stress or tight deadlines. Must work well with supervisors, co-workers, patients/residents, family members and visitors.

Position Duties/Responsibility:

Essential Functions:
The ability to communicate verbally and in written from in English. The ability to answer phones in a professional manner. The ability to lift and transport patients. The ability to climb stairs. The ability to lift and carry x-ray jackets. The ability to use a keyboard. The ability to move x-Ray equipment. The ability to work short periods in dark cramped areas. The ability to have normal or correctable hearing and vision. The ability to stand for extended periods. The ability to be supervised. The ability to work as a Team. The ability to have positive personal interactions with staff, patients/residents and visitors.
Position Qualifications:
Education:
Graduation from a state certified radiographic technology program with full licensure
Experience:
New graduates considered
Certifications:
CRT, CPR
certification required from the American Heart Association. Fluoro license and IV therapy certificate within 1 year of hire.
Skills/Ability:
Ability to perform or be trained in full range of exams performed in department LVMC reserves the right to modify the minimum requirements depending on the needs of the organization.
