Job Description

Radiology Technologist Acute Hospital Full Time Varied Shifts Varied Hours
Salary Range:
$35.14 - $48.43 Pay rates are determined based on experience and internal equity.
Position Summary:
Performs radiographic, fluoroscopic exams on inpatients, outpatients, and surgical patients. Scanning documents related to the exam into the exam order. Must work well under stress or tight deadlines. Must work well with supervisors, co-workers, patients/residents, family members and visitors.

Position Duties/Responsibility:

Essential Functions:
The ability to communicate verbally and in written form in English. The ability to answer phones in a professional manner. The ability to lift and transport patients. The ability to use a keyboard. The ability to move X-ray equipment. The ability to have normal or correctable hearing and vision. The ability to stand for extended periods. The ability to be supervised. The ability to work as a Team. The ability to have positive personal interactions with staff, patients/residents and visitors.
Position Qualifications:
Education:
Graduation from a state certified radiographic technology program with full licensure.
Experience:
New graduates considered
Certifications:
CRT, AHA
BLS, Fluoro license and IV therapy certificate within 1 year of hire.
Skills/Ability:
Ability to perform or be trained in full range of exams performed in department
