Job Description

Category Imaging - CT/X-Ray Job Type Contract An excellent opportunity is available for a skilled imaging professional experienced in CT and X-ray procedures. This contract position spans 13 weeks and requires expertise working with both Siemens 64 Somatom CT scanners and X-ray equipment. A well-qualified candidate will uphold the highest standards of patient care and technical proficiency, working in a collaborative medical environment.

4x10s, Evenings, Friday through
Monday Hours:
12:00 pm - 11:30 pm On-call required: 11:30 pm - 4:00 am
Qualifications:
Current ARRT certification Valid California Radiologic Technologist License BLS certification required Fluoroscopy and IV certification required Comprehensive experience in both CT and X-ray imaging modalities Comfort working independently on evening shifts and managing urgent/emergent situations Experience with Siemens 64 Somatom scanners highly desired
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality CT and X-ray procedures on patients of all ages with appropriate technique and safety standards Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring accurate and timely patient exams Collaborate with radiologists and other clinical staff to ensure optimal patient care Adhere to all regulatory and safety protocols, including documentation and quality control standards Participate in required on-call shifts, responding promptly and professionally to emergent imaging needs
