requires each full-time employee in Bargaining Unit 20, and related Excluded, Exempt and Statutory Exempt employees, will have their base salary reduced by 3 percent and will receive 5 PLP 2025 leave credits monthly for at least 16 months. Salaries do not reflect the recent changes. Part-time employees are subject to the same conditions as full-time employees, on a prorated basis equivalent to their time-base. Permanent intermittent employees are subject to the same condition as full-time employees, based on the number of hours worked in the pay period. Under the direction of the Chief Medical Executive and the supervision of the Correction Health Services Administrator I/II, Correctional Facility (CF), the Radiologic Technologist, CF instructs and prepares patients for radiologic examinations and takes x-rays for a variety of body structures. The Radiologic Technologist maintains equipment and quarters and keeps records and files. The Radiologic Technologist, CF may supervise the incarcerated-workers and the conduct of patients in treatment.

Minimum Qualifications:

Possession of a current valid certificate as a certified Radiologic Technologist in diagnostic radiologic technology issued by the California State Department of Health Services.

AND Either I:

Two years of experience, including training in radiologic techniques and methods, under an accredited medical radiologist. (Successful completion of the work required for a graduate nurse may be substituted for one year of this required experience and training.)

Or II:

Successful completion of a two-year training program in radiologic technology approved by the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association, in collaboration with the American College of Radiology.
