Job Description

Category Imaging - CT/X-Ray Job Type Contract Advance your career as a skilled CT/PET Technologist specializing in Imaging - CT/X-Ray in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract opportunity offers the ability to work alongside a knowledgeable team, utilizing advanced equipment to provide crucial diagnostic imaging services.
Schedule/Hours:
Monday through Friday 8-hour day shifts (5x8s) Some shared on-call responsibilities
Key Qualifications:
Proficient in CT, X-Ray, and CT/PET imaging modalities Current BLS certification required Fluoroscopy certificate highly desirable Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images following safety protocols Proof of negative TB test within 12 months prior to contract start Adaptability for on-call duties and flexibility for collaborative, patient-centered care Previous experience in a busy imaging department preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform CT, PET, and X-ray examinations as ordered, maintaining the highest standards in patient safety and image quality Prepare patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation Operate and calibrate imaging equipment, troubleshooting as required Maintain accurate records and ensure proper documentation within hospital systems Coordinate care and workflow efficiently with radiologists, physicians, and department staff Strictly adhere to infection control and radiation safety guidelines Benefits of this
