We are currently serving Monterey Park and Victorville. We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Rad Tech looking for the flexibility to manage their own schedule. The ideal candidate will have experience in a procedural room, understand sterility, utilize a variety of radiographic equipment, be able to competently perform radiographic procedures on adults, and complete all studies in a timely and efficient manner. This role includes scrubbing as needed and involves mainly lower extremity angiograms, genicular embolizations, and fistulagrams. Rad Techs are responsible for ensuring a smooth operation in a fast-paced environment. Available assignments will be posted through Connecteam as a first come, first serve basis. To remain an active member of our team, you are required to work at least one shift per month. This is a 1099 independent contractor position, not an employee role. The radiologic technologist will work with a high degree of professional independence and manage their own availability. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and benefits. Contractors are subject to credentialing review and background screening as a condition of engagement. Job Duties
  • Assist in preparing the procedural room for surgical procedures by ensuring all necessary supplies are sterile and ready for use
  • Assist Physician as needed
  • Able to scrub interventional radiology procedures
  • Know how to use IVUS, RotorX
  • Maintain patient dignity and confidentiality
  • Assist the RN and Tech in positioning patient correctly and ensuring their comfort throughout the procedure Minimum Requirements
  • Accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
  • ARRT certification required
  • CRT license required
  • Fluoroscopic permit required
  • BLS certification required
  • Ability to adapt to different C-arms
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic radiology principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Prior experience working in a vascular outpatient setting
Pay:
$60.00 - $70.00 per hour
