Job Description
Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated X-Ray Technologist to join our dynamic medical imaging team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of radiologic procedures, and patient care. This role offers an opportunity to provide essential diagnostic services with precision and professionalism. The successful applicant will uphold radiation safety protocols, and deliver exceptional patient care in accordance with clinical standards. Responsibilities Operate radiologic imaging equipment including X-ray, fluoroscopy, and DEXA scans. Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, ensuring comfort, and applying aseptic techniques when necessary. Implement radiation safety procedures diligently to protect patients and staff from unnecessary exposure during imaging sessions. Maintain detailed records of imaging procedures, patient information, and equipment calibration to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Stay current with technological advancements in radiology. Qualifications Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) with valid CA licensure. Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, physiology principles, and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Demonstrated commitment to radiation safety procedures and patient care excellence. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
