1 Description American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with at least 1-2 years of experience and ARRT (R)(MRI) certification for a day-shift assignment. Details Adult acute care and outpatient settings, including ER/Trauma Performs MRI imaging of abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal regions Utilizes GE MRI equipment and PACS system Special imaging procedures include gradient echo imaging, spin echo, T-1 and T-2 weighted images, MIP, MRP, and surface coils Day shift schedule, 4x12 hours from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Epic EMR experience required Requirements Minimum of 1-2 years of MRI Technologist experience required ARRT (R)(MRI) and ARRT (R) certifications required BLS certification required
CRT / CA
license required if applicable Community hospital experience preferred Experience with contrast media preparation and administration Experience starting peripheral IVs Epic EMR experience required Additional Information Perform MRI imaging across multiple anatomical regions including abdomen, pelvis, brain, spine, chest, and musculoskeletal system May be expected to float between sister facilities near the contracted location Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) All time off requests must be submitted upfront during the application process Two supervisory references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate Radius requirement of 50 miles for travel pay eligibility Former Providence permanent employees must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must be located more than 50 miles from the facility First-time travelers not specified for consideration
