Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in diagnostic imaging by using your expertise in MRI technology. This contract-based opportunity offers you the chance to work in a supportive environment that values precision and patient care.
Qualifications and Experience:
Certification as an MRI Technologist from an accredited program ARRT (MR) certification, or eligible Current BLS certification Proven experience performing MRI scans in a healthcare setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and medical staff Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple cases efficiently Familiarity with standard MRI safety protocols and troubleshooting
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate MRI equipment to produce detailed images for diagnostic purposes Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after scans Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality diagnostic information Prepare and position patients according to the clinical indications and imaging needs Verify patient identification and explain procedures clearly to foster understanding and reduce anxiety Maintain accurate patient documentation and equipment logs Follow infection control standards and safety protocols at all times
