Category Imaging - CT/X-Ray Job Type Contract Looking for an opportunity to utilize your expertise in medical imaging? Healthcare professionals who specialize in CT and X-ray technology are needed to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a dynamic clinical setting. This contract role involves working with advanced imaging equipment to support patient care and collaborating closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality CT and X-ray scans according to physician orders and established protocols Prepare and position patients while ensuring their safety and comfort throughout each diagnostic procedure Operate and maintain imaging equipment, monitoring performance and reporting any technical issues Accurately document patient information and exam details in electronic medical records Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to communicate test results and support patient care decisions Uphold all infection control and safety standards within the imaging suite
Qualifications & Experience:
Current certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT CT) and/or X-ray Technologist (ARRT R) State licensure as required for imaging professionals Proven experience in both CT and X-ray imaging practices in a clinical or hospital environment Strong understanding of anatomy, imaging procedures, and radiation safety Excellent communication and patient care skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team This position is ideal for professionals looking to expand their experience in a busy healthcare setting while delivering excellent patient-centered imaging services.
