Job Description
Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Mammography Technologist, you will be vital in early breast cancer detection, performing high-quality mammographic imaging with precision and compassion. Every day you will expertly operate equipment, meticulously position patients, ensure comfort, perform quality control, and maintain accurate records. You'll collaborate with radiologists and adhere to safety and regulatory standards for comprehensive breast health. To be successful in this role, you will possess current mammography certification, exceptional technical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a compassionate demeanor, ensuring accurate diagnostics and positive patient experiences. Ensures a professional and responsive atmosphere by greeting patients, visitors, staff and physicians promptly and courteously. Refers to each individual using two patient identifiers or by name when appropriate. Screens individuals by requesting to see identification or visitor pass. We are offering a $15,000 Sign-On Bonus to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements. Job Requirements Required 4 years relevant experience as a Radiologic Technologist License/certification in the Modality of the Section which they are assigned Must have satisfactorily completed formalradiologic technology training in an AMA approved school Valid Medical Radiographer license in the State of California Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association Registered Technologist Radiography (ARRT) Fluoroscopy Permit Where You'll Work Founded in 1950, Dignity Health - Sequoia Hospital is a 208-bed, acute care, nonprofit hospital located in Redwood City, California.
