Cerner Roles & Responsibilities The Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray will provide mobile diagnostic imaging services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other patient-care locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform and process portable X-rays using digital radiography (DR) or computed radiography (CR) equipment. Submit/transmit completed X-ray images to a Radiologist for interpretation . Transport and safely operate portable X-ray equipment at various healthcare facilities. Obtain clinically diagnostic and technically competent X-ray images as ordered by physicians. Perform EKGs , when required, and transmit results to a Cardiologist for interpretation. Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily according to established protocols. Communicate regularly and efficiently with dispatch and management . Maintain professional communication with peers, supervisors, facility staff, and clients. Maintain the mobile vehicle and X-ray equipment in proper working condition. Provide compassionate and professional patient care in a variety of healthcare environments. Work independently while traveling to different facilities and patient locations. Qualifications ARRT Certification - Required Active California Radiologic Technologist License - Required Limited license is NOT accepted Valid driver's license in the applicable state and maintained in good standing. Must maintain all required state licenses, certifications, health requirements, and operational requirements.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position involves regularly transporting and maneuvering portable X-ray equipment. Technologists may push/pull equipment weighing approximately 50-100 lbs. Vehicle ramps and pulleys may assist with equipment movement. Moving equipment inside facilities or homes may require significant physical effort. Approximately 50 lbs. or more of force may be required multiple times throughout the workday. Reasonable accommodations may be available for qualified individuals with disabilities.
