Job Description

Adventist Health seeks a Multi-Modality Specialist to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging across multiple modalities in a faith-based, patient-centered hospital setting. Responsibilities include performing CT, MRI, X-ray, or other exams, ensuring accurate imaging, radiation safety, and compassionate care. You will collaborate with physicians and care teams, follow imaging protocols, document in EHR/PACS, and support rotating shifts. Ideal candidates hold ARRT registration, multi-modality competency, and experience in acute care. Join a mission-driven team committed to whole-person care and professional growth. Responsibilities Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging exams across multiple modalities (e.g., CT, MRI, X-ray) according to physician orders and protocols. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and clear communication before, during, and after imaging procedures. Apply radiation safety and infection control standards in compliance with hospital and regulatory policies. Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment, reporting malfunctions and coordinating service as needed. Accurately document procedures and findings in PACS, RIS, and EHR systems. Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other care team members to support timely diagnosis and care plans. Manage workflow during rotating shifts, prioritizing STAT and urgent exams effectively. Assist with contrast administration and monitor patients for reactions or complications. Participate in continuing education and competency assessments for multiple imaging modalities.
