1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years experience and ARRT(M) certification to perform diagnostic and screening breast imaging procedures in an outpatient setting. Details Outpatient mammography setting 5x8 day shifts, Monday-Friday with Saturday rotation as needed Shift options of 6:30 AM-2:30 PM or 10:30 AM-6:30 PM Performs 3D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, and screening mammograms Uses Hologic 3D equipment Epic charting system preferred Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience required ARRT(M) certification required BLS certification required (AHA) CA CRT license required if applicable Must be able to work independently exercising sound clinical judgment Additional Information Performs routine and specialized breast procedures to produce quality diagnostic images Responsible for patient assessment, monitoring, and effective communication with patients and healthcare teams May orient other staff to the department Adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations and facility policies Accepts local candidates at local rate 50-mile radius rule applies Returning staff/travelers must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract with only 1 holiday request permitted per contract Must complete lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
