Bay Radiology offers a team-oriented environment in a relaxed outpatient setting. The facility provides MRI and Ultrasound services. We are looking for a full-time M-F Tech Aide/Admin to assist the MRI Technologist and the Office Manager. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience working as a medical assistant or a tech aide/admin.
Bilingual is a plus:
English/Spanish Responsibilities for this position include: Taking accurate patient history and thorough MRI safety screening Prepare patients for MRI procedure Assist Technologist with coil set up, assisting and positioning patients Routine cleaning of patient areas and MRI table and coils Excellent communication skills and patient care Assist with front desk admin duties: answering phones, checking patients in, and scheduling appointments. Responsible for keeping patient appointments running on time Assist Technologist with data entry, CDs, medical device clearance Responsible for patient reminder calls (daily)
Qualifications:
Ability to adapt and be flexible Strong time management skills Computer knowledge (Microsoft Office/ RIS/ PACS) Professional demeanor Knowledge of basic medical terminology. Familiarity with HIPPA compliance Communicates appropriately and clearly to patients, management, co-workers, and physicians.
