Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Travel Mammography Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will provide specialized mammography imaging services across multiple locations, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining strict adherence to radiation safety protocols. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in medical imaging. Responsibilities Operate radiologic imaging equipment with precision to produce clear and diagnostic-quality images for mammography and other modalities such as DEXA scans, PET scans, and fluoroscopy. Perform mammography procedures in accordance with established protocols, ensuring optimal image quality for accurate diagnosis. Assist with diagnostic evaluations involving ultrasound (sonography), interventional radiology procedures, and nuclear medicine techniques. Implement radiation safety procedures diligently to protect patients and staff from unnecessary exposure during all imaging processes. Provide compassionate patient care by explaining procedures clearly, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining professionalism throughout interactions. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including emergency medicine personnel, radiologists, and technologists to facilitate timely diagnoses. Maintain detailed documentation of procedures performed and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards. Adapt quickly to different clinical environments by demonstrating flexibility and a comprehensive understanding of physiology and medical terminology. HAL01
