Job Summary:
Operates Computed Tomography (CT) equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation. Performs a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy, while ensuring patient safety, image quality, and compliance with regulatory standards.Job Requirements Education and Work Experience:
Associate's Degree inRadiologic Technology:
Preferred Licenses/Certifications:
Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT): Required Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in the state of practice: Required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required Fluoroscopy license (where required): Required Advanced CT Certification (ARRT-CT): Preferred Venipuncture certification: Preferred Essential Functions Performs Computed Tomography (CT) examinations and other diagnostic imaging procedures according to physician orders and established protocols. Performs general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures as required. Assesses and monitors patients before, during, and after imaging procedures to ensure safety and comfort. Produces high-quality diagnostic images, including post-processing and image reconstruction when applicable. Transfers images using PACS and other imaging systems for physician interpretation. Maintains accurate patient records, documentation, and billing information. Ensures compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards. Performs routine equipment maintenance, quality assurance checks, and inventory management. Adheres to radiation safety and infection prevention protocols. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Organizational Requirements Associates must receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable.
