Key Qualifications:
Current and valid certification as an MRI Technologist (such as ARRT-MR or equivalent) Previous experience operating MRI equipment in a healthcare setting In-depth knowledge of MRI safety protocols and best practices Strong patient communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Essential Responsibilities:
Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures with care and professionalism Operate MRI equipment to acquire diagnostic images according to physician orders and facility protocols Monitor patients during procedures, prioritizing comfort and safety throughout Evaluate image quality and ensure accurate documentation in patient records Collaborate with radiologists and fellow technicians to interpret and deliver timely results Maintain equipment, perform required quality checks, and report any malfunctions promptly Adhere to all facility and regulatory policies for infection control, privacy, and safety
