$87,734 - $131,601 per year Position Summary The CT Technologist performs high-quality computed tomography (CT) examinations, ensuring accurate diagnostic images while maintaining patient safety and comfort. The ideal candidate is experienced in CT imaging, follows radiation safety standards, and collaborates effectively with radiologists and the healthcare team. Mandatory Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Active ARRT (R) Certification. Active ARRT (CT) Certification. Current BLS Certification (or obtain within 90 days of hire). Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience preferred. Experience with PACS, RIS/HIS, and EMR/EHR systems preferred. Knowledge of ALARA radiation safety standards . Preferred Qualifications Experience with MRI, X-ray, Fluoroscopy, or C-Arm imaging. Cross-training in additional imaging modalities such as MRI, DEXA, or Mammography. Previous hospital or acute care imaging experience. Key Responsibilities Perform high-quality CT scans following physician orders and departmental protocols. Prepare, educate, and position patients for accurate imaging. Operate CT equipment safely while following ALARA radiation safety standards. Monitor patients during procedures and ensure comfort and safety. Document procedures accurately in EMR, PACS, and RIS systems. Review image quality and collaborate with radiologists as needed. Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance issues. Maintain imaging supplies and comply with hospital policies. Participate in on-call, weekend, holiday, and overtime rotations as required Schedule Full-Time Day Shift.
