Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment in Golden, Colorado. The CT Tech will perform high-quality computed tomography procedures using advanced imaging equipment while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with established protocols. The ideal candidate will have strong CT imaging experience, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work independently in an acute care setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform CT imaging procedures using ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes. Operate CT scanners and related imaging systems to obtain high-quality diagnostic images. Verify patient identification, physician orders, and exam requirements prior to procedures. Perform exams according to department protocols and safety standards. Evaluate images for quality, clarity, and accurate anatomical coverage. Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. Administer contrast media as directed and follow proper contrast safety protocols. Provide patient education, comfort, and support throughout procedures. Communicate effectively with physicians, radiologists, nurses, and healthcare team members. Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, procedures, and any incidents. Follow infection control practices and maintain sterile techniques when required. Assist with quality control procedures and report equipment concerns. Stay updated with advancements in CT technology and imaging protocols. AL01

Required Qualifications:

Active ARRT (CT)•Computed Tomography Certification required. Active ARRT (R)•Radiologic Technologist Certification. 1+ year of experience as a CT Tech in acute care setting. BLS (AHA) certification.
